CHEF AUGUSTO RIOFRIO MAPELLI

Originally from Lima - Peru, and graduated from the Institute of High cuisine D'Gallia in 2006, Chef Mapelli shines with his emphasis on Peruvian food, Steak House, and international food. He also has more than 10 years of experience in the culinary - hotel industry – and just like every good chef, is deeply passionate about gastronomy. “I worked as Regional Chef at Inkaterra Hotels, Sous Chef at Renaissance Aruba, Executive Chef at Mukul Resort Nicaragua, Executive Chef at Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, Executive and was a Chef at Tambo del Inka Luxury Collection Resort & Spa Cusco. I am currently in Cancun, Mexico and I work for The Grand at Moon Palace preparing my recipes at the Cusco restaurant and sharing part of my culture with the guests.”

Amazing Experience

Had a lovely time at the Moon palace the Grand, lovely hotel and staff are so helpful and friendly. Will be booking again for next year, food was lovely and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Lots of pools to entertain everyone.
